Application Version Date Size Description/System Requirements
CyberDog 2.0 4/21/97 3669 K The latest version of Apple's web browser has some very compelling features. Though not yet perfect, and still a little unstable (aren't they all?), it offers very fast browsing, a great email client, a simple FTP client, a nice website tracking system, and Apple's tendency toward clean and simple design. Very much worth a try!
68k version. Visit the Cyberdog Site.
MacWeb 1.11e 10/20/95 364 K At 364k, MacWeb has a surprisingly small footprint for a Web browser, which is welcome, especially given some of today's bloated applications. This is a native PowerPC version. 68k-only version is available here.

Microsoft Internet Explorer 4.0 3/3/98 Varies Internet Explorer has been created exclusively for the Mac. It is fast and small, but has several small annoyances. It also lacks several power-user features found in Netscape, although with version 3.01, many new usefull features have been added. Worth a try!
NCSA Mosaic 2.01 10/2/95 1,086 K The fading, yet still alive, Web browser alternative. A 68k-only version is available here.
Netscape Navigator 4.0 3/3/98 Varies Netscape Navigator has become the industry standard for web browsing, Usenet newsreading, and e-mail clienting.
