Did you know...

Mac purists outraged at the release of the first Macintosh with an Intel processor! Though it may have been a complete insult to some, the 610DOS actually satisfied a huge necessity for cross-compatibility amongst PC users.

Despite its obvious usefulness, the 610DOS was quickly discontinued after only two months of production (only 25,000 units were manufactured). Thus, the Macintosh Quadra 610DOS can boast being the shortest-lived Mac model in Apple history!

Current used market value of a 8/160 configuration: $475
