Did you know...

The introduction of the 610 brought on a never-before-seen, low-profile case that debuted the appearance of a new and unusual nub-like power button on its front panel -- previous Macs had never before used this type of on/off mechanism!

This computer, which featured the first 680LC40 (the LC meaning "low cost" which inferred that it could not accomodate an FPU), offered high-speed Ethernet circuitry and an option to upgrade to PowerPC.

Current used market value of a 4/80 configuration: $300
