Did you know...

What do you get when you cross an LC III and a Color Classic? You've got it -- Macintosh 520!! Boasting a 14-inch monitor, a CD-ROM drive and a 25MHz '030 processor all in one self-contained box, the 520 was quite the strange-looking device. Despite its unusual appearance, this unit became one of Apple's more enticing configurations. Offered exclusively to schools, the LC 520 was soon replaced by faster but identical-looking models only seven months later.

Current used market value of a 4/160/cd configuration: $400
