| Code named "Green Jade", the Macintosh SE/30 was the first Mac to be built around the 32-bit 68030 processor. Additionally, it was also the first Mac to possess an FPU (speeds up complex math functions), a SuperDrive (reads high-density floppy disks and provides MS-DOS and OS/2 compatibility) and color QuickDraw (enables one to add a video card to the SE/30's processor-direct slot and connect it to a color monitor).
