Did you know...

Code named "Montana", the Macintosh Classic II was one of the last of the compact Macs to be released. It ran at the same processor speed as the SE/30 it replaced; however, it was about 30 percent slower. The reason? Whereas the SE/30 had a 32-bit data path, the Classic II was humbly endowed with only 16-bit. This was okay considering that its price was touted at almost $2000 cheaper!

Current used market value of a 4/40 configuration: $165
