Advantages

Price	The C500 is currently the most inexpensive Macintosh clone available.
Expandability	For it's class of machine, the C500 has good expandability including two PCI slots and an external SCSI chain. It's 16mb of RAM are soldered on the motherboard, leaving two DIMM slots free. The C500 also benefits from A.S.P.D., meaning it's 603e can be upgraded to a faster 603e card.
Performance	Especially with the addition of an accelerated video card, the C500 packs enough power to keep on top of all current game and productivity software.
Service	Umax is quickly building a reputation for good service. Included free in the first year of ownership is onsite service. Phone support has been very good, as has been the company's knowledge of their machines.

Drawbacks

Expandability	For a machine of it's class it has good expandability. In a perfect world, it might have a bit more. In reality, it probably doesn't need more. That's what discussion forums are for!
