Lego Printer Connects to iMac, Prints With Felt-Tip Pen

An obviously intelligent individual has been hard at work designing and building this impressive Lego printer, shown here working with an Apple iMac.

This is not a kit you can buy and does not use Mindstorms. The dude designed, built and coded it all from scratch including analog motor electronics, sensors and printer driver. The USB interface uses a "wiring" board.

Irony = Bill Gates + Apple + Adobe

"A picture speaks a thousand words." Well, maybe in this case, it speaks a million.

Bill Gates sat down with Wired magazine this week to get his mug photographed in preparation to appear on the magazine's cover. Someone waxed a bit cynical as they took this picture of Bill checking himself out on an Apple iMac.

Throw in Adobe Lightroom (recent events: Apple vs. Adobe, blah blah blah...) and now the irony is gushing.

Apple Refurbished iMacs Are Aplenty

Apple Refurbished iMacs are available today

The Special Deals section of The Apple Store, commonly known for its vast selection of Apple refurbished products, just added an avalanche of refurbished iMacs this morning.

As of this writing, there are currently nine configurations of iMacs available. With discounted prices ranging from $849 (20-inch 2.66GHz model) to $1849 (27-inch 2.8GHz model), this selection represents the widest range of cheap iMacs we've seen.

Well-known Apple retailer MacMall today announced the beginning of their six-day Easter sale. Savings of up to $240 can be enjoyed on most any of Apple's entire line of Mac products including the MacBook, MacBook Pro, iMac, Mac Pro and Mac Mini.

Additional terms of this sale include free shipping, a free HP all-in-one printer, a free 4GB flash drive and free Parallels software. Also, unless you live in California and Tennessee, MacMall does not require you to pay sales tax.

All products available as part of this promotion are brand new, not refurbished or reconditioned. Interestingly, the company's return policies and procedure explicitly state that "Apple products are non-returnable".
